My go to texture paste for years has been DecoArt Modeling Paste - smooth, thick & durable. I decided to give Creative Muse Designs a try and felt a little disappointed by it. The paste is smooth but with a good amount of tooth, and dries quickly, but is quite wet. I tested it out through a stencil and found the paste does seep underneath even with one pass of a palette knife. It will be great for creating a textured surface, but not so for precision work with stencils. Back to DecoArt for me!
