Kielty Alcohol Ink - Bradán Feasa (Salmon).
In the words of Kielty Ink:
So why the name Bradán Feasa? Bradán Feasa or the Salmon of Knowledge was a fish that ate 6 hazelnuts which fell into the well of knowledge from 6 trees growing around the well. In doing so it gained all of the world’s knowledge. It is said the person that eats Bradán Feasa's flesh would in turn gain all of the world’s knowledge.
A poet known as Finegas spent 7 years fishing for the Bradán Feasa, when he finally caught the fish he gave it to his servant Fionn too cook. He gave Fionn explicit instructions not to eat the fish. However, in the process of flipping over the fish Fionn splashed his thumb with fish oil and sucked it. In soothing the pain he also gained some of the Bradán Feasa's knowledge unbeknownst to him. Fionn brought the fish back to Finegas whom immediately saw the brightness in Fionns eyes and asked him if he ate any of the fish. Fionn explained what had happened and Finegas gave the fish to him. After eating Bradán Feasa's flesh Fionn gained all of the knowledge of the world which he could access by sucking his thumb. Through this knowledge he became the hero of Irish myth Fionn mac Cumhaill and leader of the Fianna, a band of warriors.
